What I learned this week.
Traveled to YWAM San Diego Baja for meetings & friend visits. Then on to Kona for more of the same. Here is some of what in leaned:
To fully experience being a follower of Jesus we have to share him with others. We can get "fat" on filling ourselves with Jesus stories and lessons. But Jesus asked us to Make Disciples. Not just be His. When we do this the world has soooo much joy for us!
I'm not talking about evangelizing and "gettin people saved". Some places may need this but more often for me it means to meet people where they are at. To simply share Jesus by showing his love to another. Doing his worker means simply loving another person, having a relationship in which they experience unconditional love. That's real Jesus. That's what he asked us to do :-)
Maybe that's why it is so fun to build a house for the poor.
I learned a lot this week!
