Shopping with our POP (Person of Peace)

Today we purchased our team lunch (yummy sushi!) at the favorite market of Keiko, our POP. Here are a few pics.

In Japan after you check out you take all your groceries over to a separate station to bag them yourself. No wasting the store's time!

All the Japanese wear large hats and gloves that run up their arms!!! Even in 95 degree heat. NO SUN. Cancer and lighter skin is a sign of beauty.

I asked Keiko if I could carry her groceries to her car for her. Her reply, "No, I am Japanese, I have to carry my own bags."
